We stayed at Northam Beach Hotel in Penang and there is this nice cafe by the beach just opposite the hotel. Hence we decided to have a quick dinner nearby.
Northam Beach Cafe is a newly opened beach-side hawker centre along Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah, which was formerly known as Northam Road.
As with most of the hige mansions along Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah, this bungalow now gets a make over as an all time famous hawker centre. You get almost anything here at the cafe and like most hawker centres, you will be spoilt with choices; getting confused what to order and eat! :P
The best part of all is definitely the great atmosphere where you will be blown away by the sea breeze and sunset view while enjoying your meal.
The Northam Beach Cafe! You get all type of cuisines - Thai, Local Chinese, Western, Italian, Korean, Jap, Vietnamese and etc....

The dining area... packed with food goers at 6 something in the evening...

The big ocean...

Sunset! :) Simply beautiful :)

Strong currents hitting the walls...

Yum yum... Grilled honey chicken wings...

Penang's all time favourite Char Kuey Teow...Char Koay Teow is a Penang hawker dish of flat rice noodles stir fried with prawns, eggs, bean sprouts and chives (koo chye). Cockles are often added. Chilli is another optional ingredient.

I opted for something milder; the Kuey Teow/ Mee Hoon Th'ng with pork, fishballs and fishcakes!

Weeee it was soooo windy!!!! Not to worry having to sweat and get all sticky after your meal :)

More view of the sunset in the late evening...

Ok do head down to Northam Beach Cafe in your next visit to Penang!! You will be spoilt with choices I guarantee... :)
